This is a compact PMDC (Permanent Magnet Direct Current) electric motor with a variable speed
controller that takes a regular 115VAC input from a regular appliance outlet. Due to properties of
permanent magnet stator, this motor is able to generate great torque at low speed. In addition, it
has a speed regulation so user may dial at a desired speed and it will attempt to stay with the set
speed +/- 5%. Minimum speed is 400RPM; operating speed at load is 2500RPM; maximum speed
is 5500RPM at no load.
Controller: On/Off switch, variable speed knob, CW/CCW switch, RPM display, 115vac power cord in
length of 54 inches(1372mm)
Motor: 101W@0.377N-m(3.4 in-lb)@2566RPM. Basically, the lower the speed, the higher torque it's
going to output. Shaft is 10mm in diameter with flat and 32mmin length. Square flange is measured
to be 80mm by 80mm. Diameter of mounting hole pattern is 93.5mm wide. Each mounting hole is
measured to be 5.5mm in diameter. Distance from the front face of square flange to the back of motor
is 111mm. Cylindrical portion of the motor has a diameter of 78mm and an axial length of 104mm.
Connection between motor and the control panel is 12 inch(305mm) long.
