USHPA eStore Policies

USHPA General Store Policy

Price, specifications and terms of offers are subject to change without notice. USHPA is not responsible for typographical and/or photographical errors. Retail products are accompanied by the original manufacturer warranty. USHPA does not offer any technical support or sales advice. USHPA reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.

Payment Methods - USHPA uses major Credit Cards through the store and gladly accepts Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. Currently, no other payment methods are accepted through the USHPA eStore.

Shipping Methods - USHPA ships via United States Postal Service (USPS) and United Parcel Service (UPS). USHPA recommends using UPS for shipping because of UPS' tracking and insurance offerings. The eStore does not offer any of the USPS tracking or insurance features. Depending on your location, some shipping methods may not be available, even if they are visible during product checkout. Shipping pricing includes the latest pricing from the shipping agent with a $2.50 handling surcharge.

Sales Tax - Sales tax is only required for orders shipping within our resident state, county, and city of business. Therefore, we charge tax for orders for the State of Colorado, El Paso County, and the City of Colorado Springs as well as Pikes Peak Rural Transportation Authority tax.

Processing Time - Typically, orders are processed within approximately 24-48 hours, provided the items are in stock and there are no problems with payment verification, but could take up to 72 hours, depending on volumes and staff availability. USHPA does not guarantee same day-shipping. Orders are not processed on weekends and holidays.

Product Listings - USHPA strives for accuracy in all item descriptions, photographs, compatibility references, detailed specifications, pricing, links and any other product-related information contained herein or referenced on our website. Due to human error and other determinates we cannot guarantee that all item descriptions, photographs, compatibility references, detailed specifications, pricing, links and any other product-related information listed is entirely accurate, complete or current, nor can we assume responsibility for these errors. In the event a product listed on our website is labeled with an incorrect price due to some typographical, informational, technical or other error, USHPA shall at its sole discretion have the right to refuse and/or cancel any order for said product and immediately amend, correct and/or remove the inaccurate information. Additionally, all hyperlinks to other websites from the USHPA eStore are provided as resources to customers looking for additional information and/or professional opinion. USHPA does not assume responsibility for the claims and/or representations made on these or any other websites.

Product Revisions - USHPA is not responsible for changes or variations in product specifications and/or physical appearance. In the interest of our customers, USHPA puts forth its best efforts to ensure that all product information is up-to-date and factual. Unfortunately there are varying determinates which, although infrequent, could cause the information on our website to become outdated without our immediate knowledge. This includes but is not limited to new versions or revisions, color deviations, retail package alterations and other variations that may be considered inconsequential by the manufacturer. USHPA relies on the manufacturer to communicate these differences. Presently we have no way of alerting customers prior to purchase in the event the manufacturer fails to do so. Consequently, USHPA will not be held responsible for product revision changes.

Security - Security is priority in the USHPA eStore. All online transactions are sent through ProStores secure and encrypted with 128-bit SSL technology. Once we receive your information through the Internet, only trusted, authorized employees will process the payment to make sure your information is handled with the utmost level security. We do not retain credit card information for the purposes of re-use.

Disclaimers - Materials offered through the USHPA eStore are part of an information dissemination service for the general public and are provided for benefit and enjoyment. The USHPA makes no warranties, or representations and assumes no liability concerning the validity of any advice, opinion, or recommendation expressed in these materials. All individuals relying on these materials do so at their own risk. Pilots should refer to the USHPA website for the most current rating and special skill information. Pilots seeking training should do so only under the guidance of a USHPA Certified Instructor.

USHPA Return Guidelines

Damaged Items - USHPA deals with items that are damaged, lost, or stolen based on the shipper used:

  • Items that are shipped via USPS will not be replaced in case of loss, theft or damage. 
  • Items shipped via UPS or FedEx, which are damaged or lost during shipment, must have an investigation initiated with the shipping agent by the USHPA office. Please contact USHPA within one week of its arrival so that we may initiate this investigation.  Do not discard/return the item or its packaging before the shipping merchant has been allowed to inspect the shipment (in case of damage).  Once the claim has been filed and approved by the shipping agent, USHPA will send the replacement items.
  • If this policy is not followed correctly, the USHPA will not replace any items.

Exchanges - USHPA wants you to be satisfied with products you have purchased. Defective items may be exchanged for a replacement within 30 days of your ship date as indicated on your packing slip. New items may also be exchanged for a different item provided they are returned in original condition.  DVD’s and CD’s must be returned unopened while books must be returned unused and unmarked.  Any remaining credit balance will be refunded.  Before returning any items, please email products@ushpa.aero or call (719) 632-8300 (M-F, 8am - 5pm MST)

Returns - USHPA will refund the purchase price (not including shipping/handling) of returned items, provided they are returned in original condition. DVD’s and CD’s must be returned unopened, while books should be unused and unmarked.  Email products@ushpa.aero or call (719) 632-8300 (M-F, 8am - 5pm MST) for return authorization.
