Free Shipping Offer: In a new business relationship with the US Postal Service, we are happy to announce that we will be running a free shipping offer indefinitely for all orders over $50.  The only exception to this will be our line-up of globes which we cannot offer due to the oversize nature of the boxes.  Please note that our free shipping offer includes shipping with USPS Media Mail and is only available for shipping within the USA. (we cannot offer free shipping for framed/stretched maps shipping outside the contiguous 48 USA States) Please email us with any questions.  Happy Shopping!! :-)

 

Shipping Address Rules: Swiftmaps will always ship US Postal Service where feasible.  In the event we cannot use the Postal Service (most large items including framed maps and globes) we will use United Parcel Service- UPS.  PLEASE NOTE - you must make us aware if your address is not a valid postal address.  We cannot tell if an address is a valid postal address by looking at it.  Since orders automatically ship US Postal Service we must be made aware if your order must ship with UPS or FedEx Ground.  We do understand that some addresses cannot accept US Mail.

 

Swiftmaps Returns Policy: At swiftmaps.com, we get excited about maps, however we understand that sometimes, the reality of an online map purchase is that when you get the map, it may be different than you expected. If that is the case, the following two options are available:

-you can send your order back to us and receive a refund less a 20% restocking fee or

-send your map back for replacement/upgrade with our professional suggestions for the correct map.

Please note: You must call/email for return authorization within 48 hours of receipt.

Maps being reference material traditionally have return policies similar to books. While swiftmaps.com is unable to refund shipping costs, we will gladly refund the cost of products, less a 20% restocking fee, when returned in their original and 100% re-sellable condition. To process your request, all returns require a swiftmaps.com provided Return Authorization Number (RAN). Prior to returning any products, please contact swiftmaps.com Customer Service at customerservice@swiftmaps.com and provide the following: Order Reference Number/Invoice Number and Customer Name.

Swiftmaps.com is unable to accept returns or process refunds in the following instances: Previously mounted, staple holes, push-pin holes or any other alteration or damage.

Items arriving back to Swiftmaps damaged due to improper return packaging will not be refunded from Swiftmaps.com. Customer must inquire with the shipping company as to how to issue a claim in order to get re-imbursed for the shippers damages.

Receiving Damaged Products via USPS or UPS: If a tube or packaging is visibly damaged at time of delivery - refuse it immediately and email us. Do not accept delivery.  If your item is left at your address by your postman please give back the parcel to your postman with a note saying "REFUSED" so it will be returned to us at no charge to you.  If damage is not found until the product is opened or if you accept delivery, please contact the carrier immediately to report the damaged delivery and provide the origination address and the destination address (both located on the outside of package). Carrier Contact Information: US Postal Service: 800-275-8777 United Parcel Service: 800-742-5877. Once the claim has been reported to the carrier, you  will need to send back the damaged product to us to finalize the damage and insurance claim. Email us at: customerservice@swiftmaps.com and let us know that you have contacted the carrier so that we can follow through. In both cases we will send out a replacement product free of charge once the item is received in our warehouse. If you are returning a damaged item, you may use US Priority Mail or UPS Ground services as desired.  Please call if you have any questions regarding our damages policies before placing your order. 

 

Receiving Damaged Freight:  (Roadway-Yellow Freight-R+L Carriers) Please note that you must inspect crated framed maps that are shipped with freight companies upon delivery before signing the bill of lading and accepting delivery.  If the bill of lading is signed, accepting delivery, you are responsible for any return shipping if the item has somehow been damaged in transit and needs replacement.  This is very rare, but damages can occasionally occur - but should also be evident by inspecting the outside of the wooden crate carefully.  If you see any sign of holes, punctures, dents, crushing....etc, you should immediately either remove the item with the delivery driver there to inspect, or immediately refuse the shipment if its evident the item is damaged.  When you sign a freight bill of lading you are accepting delivery as received in good condition. This is the policy of the freight company, not Swiftmaps. 

Note: Any return for refund that included free shipping ; shipping charges incurred by Swiftmaps.com for original shipment will be taken from final refund amount.

GPS Sales: Please note that GPS sales will also adhere to the same return policies as maps.

Overnight Shipping: Items ordered for shipping overnight will ship the next day if ordered before 2pm EST - Orders after 2pm EST will ship in 1-2 business days depending on the current shipping schedule. Special exceptions apply - please email us at sales@swiftmaps.com with special circumstances for an exact delivery date!! Please note that most orders ship US Postal Service: 1st Class Mail, Priority Mail or Express Mail based on your desired shipping unless requested differently. Standard order handling times are similar to the above for all orders: Rush, Expedited and Standard orders will all incur a 1-2 days handling time unless an exception is made via email and confirmed by our sales staff.  The only standard exception to this are framed map orders which is explained in detail below. NOTE: Please inform us via email at sales@swiftmaps.com if you can only accept UPS/FedEx shipments to your shipping address since most orders ship US Postal Service. We cannot tell by your address - you need to let us know by email. A reshipment back to your corrected address will incur the original shipping charges to you - even when free shipping is offered.

 

Ordering Framed Products: Please note that we take pride in our map/art framing and stretching.  We custom frame every map/poster to order.  We do not stock framed products in order that we can ensure a quality product every time.  Standard orders for framed maps will include 3-5 days of production time that is not included in the 5-10 standard shipping time.  For example - a framed map ordered with standard shipping will first take 3-5 days for production and then the quoted 5-10 day shipping time for a total of 7-15 business days for framed order delivery.  This is the same for rush and expedited orders except that we will rush your production time to 2-3 days.  Therefore the total days for delivery of framed rush and expedited orders are the following: RUSH = 4-5 business days.  EXPEDITED = 5-7 business days.  If special services or other rush expedites are needed earlier than the previously quoted ETA's we would kindly ask you email us with your requests as soon as your order is placed - sales@swiftmaps.com.  Thank you for your understanding!
