It is viewed as an innovative agent of change based upon results and models of best practice that have been tested on the ground. It is designed to promote and ensure the integration of policy changes and development, evaluation and communication in an attempt to help reverse the growth trend of more than 44-million underserved, uninsured and underinsured people living in America. 

By purchasing Hotel Katrina, a portion of the proceeds will be used to assist Hurricane Katrina evacuees that have been displaced in Atlanta, New Orleans, and in specific areas in the Mississippi Delta.
