Tomales, CA Plein Air Workshop with Jeanette Le Grue
Join national, award-winning artist, JEANETTE LE GRUE for a 3-day plein air workshop out of her home studio in beautiful Tomales, California.
Limited to 12 students with a minimum of 5.
We will be painting the beautiful hills, ranches and beaches of the Tomales area, en plein air.
Daily demonstrations will emphasize seeing the abstract design in the landscape. Painting (all prima) the direct approach, seeing the big shapes, and relationships of grays to color and color harmony, aka the F.I.S.H. School of Color.
I take beginners to professional, all levels are welcome.
Each day starts with a demo, after which you will get to paint and put into practice what you have learned. I work individually with each student, and everyone gets plenty of attention from me!
For my Tomales workshops, we meet at my studio at 27050 Hwy. 1, Tomales, CA at 9:00am the first morning, and go from 9am until 4pm each day, with a break for lunch mid-day. For plein air workshops we sometimes meeting at planned painting sites on the other days. Transportation is not included during the workshop; you must provide your own vehicle or ride with a friend. You will also need your own supplies.
