Returns

You may return most items sold by Solarscope LLC within 5 days of delivery for a full refund.  Product must be un-assembled in original condition and all unused components and parts returned.  If the return is a result of our error (you received a damaged, defective, or incorrect item), please contact us for resolution and we'll pay the return shipping cost.

We cannot accept returns of certain items, such as:

-                          Solarscope that has been assembled.  The shipper and product box may be opened and product reviewed, however, components and optics parts must remain in original condition.

-                          Any item that is not returned in the condition it was received.

Please note we accept domestic returns only. International orders are considered to be final.

Refunds

We can process returns and refunds only for items purchased through eSHOP or Solarscope LLC.  Refunds or returns of items purchased at an authorized Solarscope reseller must be brought to that merchant for processing, yet please feel free to contact us.  Please allow us two weeks to process the refund check.

Exchanges

If you received a faulty item and need to exchange it for the same item, please contact us before returning it to us.  We will ship out the replacement after we receive the returned item.

Back order policy

All back-ordered items are subject to deletion.  We make every effort to post “Sold Out” notices for any eSHOP items that are out-of-stock.  In the event an item you ordered is unavailable, we will refund or credit your account for that item.  Please check back with eSHOP or contact Solarscope LLC for availability.

Credit card policy

We will charge your credit card when your order is made and prior to shipment. If you order an item that is out of stock, we will refund or credit your account for that item.

Check or money order policy

For orders by check or money order, we will hold your order pending receipt of your payment for up to 10 days.  All orders must be pre-paid. Any unpaid orders received will be canceled after 15 days.  Please note that it takes one week for a check drawn on a bank outside Illinois to clear.  When sending us a check, please enclose a printout of your order to ensure accuracy.

Domestic Shipping

Shipping charges and applicable sales taxes are not included in the prices shown.  If you select “Standard”shipping, we will ship by UPS Ground, or where necessary via other carriers.  Online our eSHOP provides standard estimating with our automated shipping calculator, offering a range of delivery by Unite Parcel Service (UPS):

UPS Standard

We usually ship Standard orders within 48 hours and Express orders within 24 hours if you place your order during our business hours, Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm Central Standard Time (CST). If you place your order after business hours, we will ship within 48 hours Standard (or 24 hours Express) of our receipt of your order, the next business day. 

International Shipping

The shipping rate for your order, which is determined by weight and destination, is automatically calculated during the checkout process of the eSHOP.  Additionally, please note your packages may be subject to customs fees and import duties assessed by the country to which you have your order shipped.  These charges are always the responsibility of the recipient.

NOTE:  For your protection, we recommend all international orders will be shipped via a traceable method.  We recommend your order be shipped via Express Mail Service (EMS) by the U.S. Postal Service or other carrier.  If you select Express shipping, your order will be shipped via UPS, USPS or FedEx International shipping.

We accept only credit cards or bank wire transfers as payment for international orders.

Delivery Time

For the 48 states, orders generally take 3-4 business days for Standard shipping.  Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico may take longer.  For international orders, we ship within 3 business days of your order. Delivery time, however, depends on the carrier and your country’s regulations and procedures.

Payment Options

Online purchases from Solarscope LLC must be made using a credit card or as a purchase order with check/money order to be sent.  We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover.   Non-credit card orders may be sent to any address specified once the payment (check/money order/bank transfer) has been credited to Solarscope’s accounts.   We accept only credit cards or bank wire transfers as payment for international orders.

Privacy and Security

We at Solarscope LLC are committed to protecting your privacy.  We use the information you provide during online purchasing to process your online orders only.  We do not sell, trade or rent your personal information to others.  Solarscope LLC may release account information when we believe, in good faith, that such release is reasonably necessary to either comply with law, enforce or apply the terms of any of our user agreements or protect the rights, property or safety of Mighty Leaf Tea Company, our users, or others.  We collect no other personal information about you other than what you provide during the checkout process.

Personal Information Collected

In order to process your online order, we require your name, email address, credit card number, expiration date, the name and billing address of your credit card, shipping address if different than your credit card billing address, and a contact phone number.  This allows us to process and fulfill your order and to notify you of your order status.

Protecting Your Personal Information

When you provide us your personal information to process your online order, receive this information using a secure Internet server employing the industry standard secure transmission protocol known as SSL (Secure Socket Layer).  SSL encrypts all personal information you send us, ensuring that this information is sent to us in a private and secure manner.  Once received, all of your personal information is protected against unauthorized access.

A Solarscope LLC representative will only ask you for credit card information if they are taking an order placed by phone.  We will never contact you by phone or email to ask for your credit card information.  If you receive a phone call or email requesting such information - DO NOT PROVIDE ANY PERSONAL OR FINANCIAL INFORMATION.  Instead, contact us by phone, fax or email below and let us know that you have been contacted.  Solarscope LLC representatives may contact you by phone or email to confirm the details of your order if required for fulfillment.  

Consent

By using our website, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information by Mighty Leaf Tea Company.  If we change our Privacy policy, we will post the changes to this page so that you are always aware of the information we collect, how we use it and under what circumstances we disclose it.

State Sales Taxes

For all Solarscope LLC purchases, sales tax will be charged where Solarscope LLC is required by law to charge tax. We will charge the applicable City, County and State sales and or use taxes in the following states:  Illinois residents are subject to 7.5% sales tax.  Orders processed for all other US states do not require Solarscope LLC to charge sales tax at this time.

Taxes that appear on your online order are approximate. The actual taxes charged to your credit card will reflect the applicable state and local sales taxes, and will be calculated when your order is shipped. Orders shipped to CA will have all applicable local and state sales taxes added to your total order, and to your shipping charges where appropriate.

Currency Conversion

All prices listed in eSHOP are in United States dollars. Visa, MasterCard or Discover will automatically convert your purchase to your own currency on your credit card statement.  If you wish to know the exchange rate in your own currency, please visit a Universal Currency Converter site or contact your card bank.
