BOILERMAKER 7018-A1 is an outstanding welding electrode formulated specially for use in the repair of boiler tubes. Welds made on new to old, or old to new, tubes are free from porosity and slag inclusions that can lead to weld defects. Excellent starts and stops as well as a wide operating range and low spatter levels make this a preferred electrode for use in outage repairs. The coating is designed to resist moisture pick-up. The A1 alloy content allows this product to also be used for steels of up to .50% Molybdenum.

APPLICATIONS:

BOILERMAKER 7018A1 is used primarily for pressure vessel applications. This includes construction and maintenance of boilers, piping and tubing.
