The basic parts of the building system are made from 100% recyclable EVA soft yet sturdy foam. The set is designed so that a 3 year old can sort, connect and stack in a variety of ways, while an older child can build larger scale structures such as a playhouse, jet plane, robot, or smaller tabletop objects, ALL WITH THE SAME SET (276 pieces). ZinkoTek offers endless possibilities that will captivate boys and girls of all ages. Completely weather-proof, the ZinkoTek system is equally fun indoors and out. About Zinkotek

Founded only one year ago, 4 partners created the newest, most highly flexible large scale construction system targeted towards children ages 3 and up.

The origination of the concept came together when the 4 Zinkotek partners combined their energies to bring a toy to market that involved multiple play patterns with educational value while allowing a child to actually grow with the toy. It was their core belief children were not challenging themselves nor expanding their imaginations while being directed towards predetermined play behind a computer monitor. It was our goal to take the child outside, literally and figuratively.

The company was created to manufacture safe, eco friendly, educational toys utilizing the manufacturing abilities of one partners factory in Mexico. The Zinkotek construction system is the first of many new products the company intends to launch in the next year.

Already hailed as one of the most creative and innovative new toys of the year at the 2008 New York Toy Fair, toy critics understood immediately how this new system will change the way children look at traditional construction, tools and play environments.

The word ZinkoTek came into being with the help of one partners wordsmith wife, who combined the last letter of each partners last name to form Zink, while adding the O as the last letter in Mexico, our manufacturing base, and Tek at the end symbolizing the technical merits of this new creative construction system. ZinkoTek will become a word well known throughout the world in a very short period of time.
