Ortho Evra "Contraception Patch"

Bailly and McMillan, LLP is one of the leading firms fighting for women who are victims of pulmonary embolism, blood clots, stroke and heart attacks which may be caused by the use of Ortho Evra, the "contraceptive patch", marketed by Ortho McNeil Pharmaceutical, Inc. a subsidiary of Johnson & Johnson. In the Multi-District Federal Court Litigation which incorporates cases from all over the country, we are claiming that Ortho McNeil failed to adequately warn users of the Ortho Evra "contraceptive patch" of the serious increased risks of blood clots which can cause Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism, which has lead to a death of one of our clients. We are claiming that the increased risk is due to steady state concentration of estrogen released by the Patch which results in unsafe levels in the blood stream. In addition, the product contains a third generation progestin which, in combination with the high levels of estrogen, can lead to serious health risks. If you or someone that you know has utilized the contraceptive patch and have had any health problems, please do not hesitate to contact us for further information or to discuss your rights.
