Handmade Sterling Overlay Kokopelli Pendant!
This wonderful piece features spectacular overlay tooling by Calvin Peterson. Overlay is a painstaking technique where a design is cut out and soldered down onto another piece of silver then tooled and finsihed. The cutting is done by hand, and this pendant features the figure of Kokopelli, a male Puebloan deity associated with fertility, the coming of Spring and music! Hallmarked and stamped sterling it measures 7/8" long.ex bale. The tooled bale can accept up to a 3/16" diameter bead set, chain or cord. Specimen setting like this is the best example of traditional Navajo silver work, and will make a striking addition to anyone's wardrobe!
