1970s Handmade Sterling Navajo Watch Cuff Bracelet! BIG WRIST SIZE! No Reserve!
This great, wide watch bracelet is a great example of the best of Navajo Petite Point Turquoise cluster work.! It is set with 58 individually cut natural domestic turquoise stones. Hallmarked inside T&R CHARLEY, it was taken as dead pawn in the early 1980s, and had been made around 1974 by Tommie Charlie. It measures 2 1/2" wide and has an inner circumference of 8" including the 1 1/2" gap. It may be gently re-shaped to fit the wearer's wrist, but should not be opened or closed quickly, or by more than 1/4" or so. The watch face leaves are 1 1/2" wide and the pin-to-pin width, to set a movement watch face, is 1 1/4" maximum. This cuff will need a movement watch, as using a quartz will require removal to replace the batteries, which will weaken the holding leaves, which are normally formed down upon the watch face once it is mounted. If you send us your watch face, we'll install it in this watch cuff for you, free!
