Cameraless Photography
I attempt to see the subject in its most fundamental form thereby revealing its true essense and moving it from commonplace to symbolistic art.
The Photogram, often times called "photographic drawing" is, to me, the purest form of photography. Photograms are made without a camera. By placing the subject directly in contact with light sensitive paper, then exposing to light, each resulting image becomes a unique print (monoprint).
