Atomic have two main women’s ranges for 2009, the Heaven n’ Hell range of freeride-freeski skis plus the more recreational Cloud series. This, the Cloud 8, sits one from the top of the Cloud range and is a comfortable, easy to balance against recreational ski for the one or two week a year skier. Apt enough for reds and the odd black run the 8’s are designed for cruising with a light carve on groomed runs. A large tip to the ski, 121 mm on the 165 cm length, glides effortlessly into an arc and gives the skier a reassurance that this is a ski designed not to test your technique but to aide it along.
With a great aesthetic this ski is sure to be popular this coming season, it may be white but it does look great “in the skin” as the English say.
