We found this ski to be a great blend of edge-to-edge quickness combined with great long turn stability. It has Atomic’s legendary edge hold. The big side cut lends itself to great carving. Just tip it up on edge and the over sized tip pulls you in to the turn…makes carving automatic. Yet this ski has a 72mm waist and wide tip for good float for occasional trips into the powder.

Skiing Magazine gave The IZOR 9:7 "Editors Choice" . They said," The Izor... motors in and out of turns without a hiccup. Edge hold is superb, initiation is immediate, and it's easy to disengage and slide when you need to. Gripes: Slightly demanding for an intermediate stick. OUR RECOMMENDATION:

We recommend this ski for the casual intermediate thru advanced level skier, who wants both a lighter more nimble ski but still maintains very good edge hold on hard snow and stability at speed. The IZOR 9:7 is an all-mountain ski that has a biased for groomed slope and bumps. Placing less emphasis on powder and crud.
