The 2-stringer deck kit is the easy way for do-it-yourselfers or contractors to build strong, good-looking, and weather-resistant deck steps (or any outdoor steps). The kit comes with enough brackets for 3 steps; 3 left brackets, 3 right brackets, and 2 base brackets. (Total: 8 brackets).

If you want more than 3 steps, you can easily add additional brackets to your order. They come in sets of one left and one right (see shopping cart item AS2)
