Launch: November 16, 1973
Land: February 8, 1974
Vehicle: Apollo Command Module
Crew
Commander: Gerald P. Carr
Pilot: William R. Pogue
Scientist: Edward G. Gibson

Included observation of the Comet Kohoutek among numerous experiments. Completed 1,214 Earth orbits and four EVAs totaling 22 hours, 13 minutes.

Note on Mission Numbers The mission number on the Skylab missions causes some confusion. Officially the launch of the unmanned station was designated "Skylab 1". The subsequent crew assignments were designated Skylab 2, Skylab 3, and Skylab 4.

Notice that this patch hedged the issue by not having a number.
