A MIG Welder with technology built-in for the 21st Century
The Multimotive 221 MIG weld is specifically designed for the repair of galvanized and high strength steels in the automotive collision industry. This versatile unit welds with 200 peak amps for 3/8 inch thick steel or adjusts down to 20 amps for 22 gauge panels. Geared drive rolls for aluminum provide precise, trouble-free wire feeding. A unique setting on the Multimotive MIG unit provides an inductive circuit which “slows the arc”, lowering the heat input for aluminum and MIG Brazing. This feature is essential when welding boron steels, aluminum and anodized materials where excessive heat can weaken the metal. To adjust the heat input a single synergic knob conveniently located on the torch, controls twenty voltage steps and wire speed. This feature puts exact heat control at the operator’s fingertips without stopping. Spot, stitch, pulse and burn back controls are standard on the operator’s panel.
